Mission: To bring people to Christ, minister to individual needs of members and to encourage others to minister. We strive to hold true to Mathew 20:28 " Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and give His life a ransom for many."
Facts about S.A.M: The Church recognizes these facts. These are some of the special needs of this segment of the U.S. population.
- In 1983 Senior Adults 65+ outnumbered the teenage years in the U.S.
- It is estimated that one-half of the people who have lived past 65 are alive right now.
- 200 Americans reach age 100 weekly
- And, senior adults are living longer than ever before
Duties:
- Pastoral Involvement
- Quarterly Staff Meetings with the Senior Pastor
- Branch Ministries:
- Each member branches out to their own personal ministry and coordinates activities with S.A.M.
- Planning Program:
- For senior adults and any other member or guest of the church
